Mister Steel |
Started as Mr. Steel which was a metal fabrication shop for small projects. Owned by Adrian and Louise Trudeau. |
Almita Manufacturing |
Company got into the helical pile business by manufacturing helical anchors. Name changed to Almita Manufacturing. |
Increased demand of helical piles |
Hired first Engineer and went from manufacturing to growing the design side of business. Around this time Legislation took into effect that oil rigs needed to be anchored. Helical took off because of this. |
Lloyd family ownership |
Lloyd family bought into the company. Hired a new President and continued to build the company. |

From gifting and installing the foundation for the local gymnastics’ clubs to our joyful debut at the Ponoka Santa Claus Parade in 2023, where our dedicated team members joyfully volunteered their time, we cherish every opportunity to give back and connect with our neighbors. Our commitment extends to tangible contributions, including donating piles for a school playground, proudly erecting a flagpole in town, and supplying goal posts for a secondary school's football field. Additionally, we've supported infrastructure like walking bridge piles and contributed significantly to the local stampede grounds, handling everything from jumbotron signage to portable stage setups. |
